The
Gladiator Arena Felt Game Mat is designed especially for land
gladiatorial combat gaming. This game mat is silk screened with subdued 1.0 inch hexes and with ancient Roman artwork
(taken from ancient moasic artwork) depicting gladiator combat, and
has been lightly airbrushed to mimic the light colored sand that was often used in such arenas.
As with all Hotz
Artworks felt game mats, the mats have been treated with
a protective fabric binder that helps to prevent pilling and
other forms of wear normally associated with felt, and also
helps to protect the air brushed art surfaces -- these mats are designed to take normal
gaming punishment and should last a very long time.

Any felt color we carry in stock may be used for the
Gladiator Arena game mat (just ask). The two most requested felt colors are:
Sand Grey and Sand Brown. Both work very well with this game mat.
