Great Colors and Detailed Art:
    The Hotz Mats river system is designed to be inexpensive and easy to use. The river system is pre-cut, ready to use straight out of the package. Placed onto a game mat, the felt pieces will stay flat to the surface. The pieces are geomorphic, allowing you to create your own specific layout.

Great Felt Color:
The river section felt was specifically chosen because of its resemblance to sand and gravel. The river sets are designed to give the appearance of a stream/river flowing along with sandy and gravel banks on either side. Hotz Mats River Systems are not made in straight lines, like man-made canals, but are instead based on natural streams with their variations of width, depth and variations sandy/gravel bars and beaches on either side. River vegetation has been added to the Deluxe river sections, which adds more detail and realism to the final product. Our river system gives you, the customer, a natural feeling and looking product that can be setup the way you need for your games. The possibilities are endless.
    Note: We do custom orders; if you would prefer to have a dirty brown, stagnant water, or another visual feature, just ask.

Airbrushed Artwork and Hand painted Features:
    All the river sections have been hand airbrushed, to simulate both the depth and shallows of a flowing, living, river/stream. Water waves/wash has been hand rendered to give the final touch of realism.

River Sections are Geomorphic:
    The Hotz Mats Felt River Systems is geomorphic, which means the river sections will match up with other river sections in an almost seamless fashion. When several River Sections are placed end-to-end the effect is to give you a potentially endless river system, and with the additional river sections, a river system that has other rivers and streams feeding into the main river in any wy you need.
