 
Sea Blue Gladiator Arena Game Mat
We had a customer request a Gladiator Arena game mat printed
onto Sea Blue felt, rather than Sand Grey or Sand Brown felt. He wanted to play naval games in a flooded
arena setting, much like had been done in the Roman Coliseum. The
miniatures he plans to use are 1/1200th scale ship models, which will
work well on our Gladiator Arena game mat since it has one inch hexes.
The below photographs show the final custom game mat just prior to
shipping it to the customer. We do not have 1/1200th scale ship in
our studio, but we did have a set of Roman Seas cardboard markers,
which are very close to 1/1200th scale and also fit perfectly with
one inch hexes. This game mat measures 23.5 x 23.5 inches/60 x 60cm (approx).
